    Hey, Sumo...
Really turned out nice. Subtle color, great stance...full of engine...Great use of a year and a half!
Like my wife always says..."A guy NEEDS a nice truck."

Tell me: What year(s) were the A-D pickups mfd. with 5-window cabs?
Were they an option for a few years? (the "Advance Design" spanned from '49 to '55?)

    Thanks

AD trucks were built from late 47 - early 55. I believe they all had the 5 window option.

Very sharp truck. :) I like that series Chevy pickup no matter how they are done, stock or modified. Just such a clean design.

Are you going to run it sans hood ? I think it looks great that way.

Now that is something to be proud of. I love the way the headers look in the engine compartment, She's clean and uncluttered.

    Congratulations!

Looks like you had a little mocoso on your back for the durasion.

People crack-up when they come over & see my 3 year old on my back, literally, & I tell them, "Na, he's lending me a hand" after they yell, "Get Off Your Dads Back".

Got to love those kids. I LOVE the Truck. Simplicity at its finest.

Wow that looks nice. Are you running a clip in front? Most that are dont have front bumpers for some reason. Looks kick ass!

An excellent example of how to spend a year and a half. Very clean ride that will serve you well as a daily or a workhorse.

did you put up a build thread here? If not, please post up your progress here. obstacles you encountered and how you solved them, your decisions about why you picked this part or feature. the build process is always interesting to me.
