Event Coverage Monterey Historics 2012! the big show!! Carrol Shelby tribute: Event Coverage

While many will be heading off to the various and stunning concours's and other such things, I shall be sittin trackside with camera's in hand to try and capture something. Courtesy of the crew at Sunday Slacker, I have a photographers pass to wander everywhere I can. Picked up almost 200 dollars in film for the weekend. I hope that I make it proud.

this is more of a tease...

 

First round were shot on a '71 Nikon F, using ilford XP2 black and white film. Since this is c41 processing, I can drop it off at Costco and get it back in an hour. The rest will wait till thursday or so:

This is my favorite type of image, probably not good photography, there is a lot to see. Look at the drivers helmet, you can see the whole reflection of the pit row, the reflection off the review mirror. People, clouds, all manner of fun.
