So I signed up here over two years ago to research info on the Red Ram Hemi I was puttin together. Didn't really think my '56 Dodge Truck was HAMB material so just kept quite and learned what could. HAMB helped build the Hemi, get the BW overdrive in and goin' , and influenced the style along with a lot of other stuff. Unbeleivable how much info you can uncover here Well I don't have the heart to tear the truck apart and pull the flathead 6 to put that Hemi in so.... looks like I gotta start gather parts to build that hot rod I always wanted. Can't have that hemi just sittin around. Hopin to participate a little more.

couple that flathead to a T-5 overdrive setup and/or a cherokee 3.55 axle, and ya might have a decent driver

Welcome to HAMB. I'm sorta in the same boat you were. Rebuilding a '56 270 Dodge Red Ram poly engine. Was going to change it over to a hemi, but I decided I like it the way it is. (kinda unique)

Welcome from Mississippi. Heck yeah, keep the truck like it is and build yourself a hotrod.
