You guys are sweet - thanks. I think I spent the first 3-4 years on here photoshopping cars as '62Buford'... then switched my handle over to 'BLAKE' in honor of this really cool guy I know... he's awesome... get to know him...seriously.

I do miss posts from Germ... and Stinky The Austin Bum... and the occasional one from The Knowbodys.

I also miss the severe ration of shit given to folks what didn't intro prior to their first post... that was never not hilarious. "Would you just walk into a stranger's garage and jump into the conversation without doing an intro...?", we would say. Aaaah... good times.

This the first pic I ever posted here... part of my intro. The Buick was just back together (but not yet lowered), so we drove to a little car show-slash-ultralight-fly-in near my folks' place in Central BFE, Texas. I was reasonably proud of the Buick... but the HAMBers called me a fag and told me to shut the hood.

It took me a year and a half of reading the flaming threads before I actually met a few of the original members.

After I met Fonzi in California, krupanut, buzzard, and the rest of the Texas crew including Blake did I join the board.

And there hasn't been a day since then that these fellows haven't regretted inviting me to their garage!
