Customs 1965 Riviera Finally Painted

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Richard D, Aug 9, 2012.

  1. Funny that Ryan has been obsessing about Rivieras last couple days. Just got her back a couple days ago. Hard to capture the all flake with a cell phone camera.

Dude that car is dead on mid to late sixties! Perfect! I have a 66 Chevy truck Im trying to go for the same look.

  6. Hey Ed, what can I do to make it dull and flat? Ha ha ha!

  7. Bubba?

  8. Gonna try some chrome steelies or maybe Supremes. The Torq-thrusts just say muscle car to me, not mild custom.

  9. Your car is sweet. Always have wanted a 65....

Hey Richard looks super good , glad to see you saw that thing thru, I remember seeing it and meeting you in Austin about 3 years ago at the hotel, I have a blue' 63. Your car is super cool and its always good to see someone put some shiny paint on their project! Take care, always enjoy your posts. - Chris

  11. Was it powder blue wirh Torq-thrusts? If so, that was the car that made me decide to get those wheels out of my garage and put them on my car.

Looks great, Rich! Excellent color choice. Your next choice of wheels will seal the deal.

Its kinda funny , I was not fond of the color when i first saw the car but it kinda grows on you, as far as the wheels are concerned i think its all about the spinners, i originaly built this car for a customer and liked it so much , told him if he wanted to dump it give me first digs and well the rest is history. Yea the powder blue kinda works...

Hey it's Chris the TV star....your Falcon looked good on TV. I met you at your shop during the Valentine Cruise this year. You sure you don't want to make a trade for a nice Vert.

Hey Richard, that looks absolutely fantastic!! And by strange coincidence it's exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for for my wife Janes 64 consul capri. Could you give me a heads up on the colour?
