I know its been a few days now, but I've been too busy until now to post these bad boys. These are some of the cars and trucks that caught my eye. I'll be honest some of the same old same old is really starting to get to me. I thought I'd take more pics than this but there are so many cookie cutter rides out there. I commend people for restoring them and putting in sweat, blood, tears and cash in these rides, but I just need need that pop to be different. My two cents. Enjoy! Here's me and my two boys and the next is my wife and the two boys, we're all wearing our matching Hutch Customs Upholstery shirts.
Really? I saw muscle cars, 50's, and a few door slammers. I don't think it had quite the variety I've seen in past years, but it also seemed to me like overall attendance was down. Of course it seems like that at every show now...
it was a good show thats for sure i was working that show im the driver for scotts hotrod nice cars and all but to modern for me. Justin and i dont see eye to eye on styles of cars but what ever haha good pictures by the way
Hate to be the one to say it, but most of the pictures in this thread aren't Traditional hot rods or customs... Not trying to be the thread police, but there are places for billet street rods and there is a place for traditional stuff. I come here to see traditional stuff. Not trying to be a jerk, just putting it out there. They are good quality pictures though!
I saw some semi trad rods in the background of the last two..... Awesome thing to do with the family but these guys focus mostly on the foreground when you post pics
...yeah, these aren't trad, but excelent pics tho,...I like checkin out the background stuff,...I see lots of stuff there I'd like a better look at. Looks like a great event. Thanks for your post. Is your blond boy named Rambo?
Sorry for all the billet guys...I know...All but a few of the pics I took were mostly good traditional restorations and very tastfully done too. ....if you can look past the wheels and tires on almost all of them, these were some sweet rides. ...but what can we expect it was the "Street Rod" nationals. We still had fun and I'll go back. It did seem like attendace was down this year too.
I didn't get to go this year, but it seems to me the NSRA has loosened the reins quite a bit. It used to be '48 and below ONLY and they were sticklers about that. Great pics though... thanks for posting.
Defintly not pre-48, for sure... I'm sure it is an attendence thing. Oh well, still the smell of unburnt fuel and carbon monoxide in the air...good times.
