  2. Well I don't like that at all.

Sorry I just wanted to say something ugly to someone and you were available.

Looks like work but good work my friend. What are the plans for the front?

That's one way to deal with the ugly duckling jailbar front end!

Did a littlle more work on the truck , i started on the lake headers got some tall alum. finned valve covers and an alum. finned oilpan , alum. timming cover , loud gear drive and a Doug Hurberts solid lifter cam and a elec. water pump so far still lots more to buy .

I got the cab and box off the chassis and i started to square things up and then i will strip it down and start welding it up.

Oh ya and i picked up some 461 camel humpers for the motor lol

Hope to get some more done tomorrow i will post more as i getter done :)

Did a little more work on the truck today , i made the new tranny mount and straightened out the rear lower brackets and added gussets then stripped the chassis down to be welded .

I hope to start welding tomorrow , there will be alot more brackets to add like the 2 battery mounts / fuel tank brackets / roll cage /2 nitros bottle mounts / tranny cooler mounts / rad mounts and on and on lol

As soon as i weld the chassis up i will paint it so it dosen't rust on me i will grind the paint were i have to add and then repaint.

Please let me know what you guys think .

    Thanks Mike

  13. You need to look around for a 47 Merc truck grill. Horizontal bars and very different. Had one many moons ago.

  22. Nice work, curious to see what you will do with the bed of the truck, any ideas? since it looks like 3 or 4 inches deep lol, have the nitrous bottles mounted back there?

and do you have to build some sort of a scoop under the truck to direct the air into the rad ?

6" out of the front and 5" out of the back , 3" out of the back window and raked the windsheild back instead of cutting thru the roof and spliting it , i will post some pix later.

I like your build, going to chop my 40 in a similar fashion. Keep the updates coming. What is your wheelbase?
