I'd like to make my own power steering pressure hose rather than driving the parts across town to get a hose made. Where are you guys getting your fittings and hose to make your own?

This time it's for a Saginaw pump to a Mopar box. I believe it's 1/4" female SAE to 3/8" male inverted flare.

I don't want to use a stock hose because they are too long and fugly.

You could use Aeroquip or Equivalent...
The Hose Shop in Santa Cruz is a good place to start

the fittings are industrial but you need a hydraulic crimpng tool. Or aeroquip makes a hose that you can assemble, it is used in circle track racing and looks kinda traditional, they also make teflon-lined steel braid if you want some glkitz and glitter.

The hose can come from Dayco if you ask for is at a parts house. Problem is that you might have to buy a roll. There are a lot of different fittings. All those with tubing on them with different bends. A friend of mine has a system that lets him clean off the crimped part of the fittings and he crimps on a band. He tells me that the bands are getting hard to find.
