• This year the show will be different, We're gonna have:
  LIVE BANDS!
  SWAP MEET!
• And the world famous PRE-PARTY at No-Where!

Depending on how much interest we get, we will organize some sort of caravan down to Lakeland on some nice scenic roads after the Backyard Bash, ending at a restaurant famous for orange shorts near the Billetproof Drags host hotel, or early the next morning leaving from the restaurant famous for rocking chairs out front. Who wants to see those ugly ass bumpers that they came out with in '73?

Should be '62 and earlier. Don't need to see a gazillion Camaros, Mustangs, and Chevelles. But that's just MY opinion, which doesn't really matter

I've been to the Billetproof drags at Lakeland, very cool. Any show at "Bigs" is historic. To hang out with the Swamp Kings and all the Florida hot rodders all on the same weekend makes it a drive I got (get) to make.

Can't wait, We had a Swamp Kings, dewies, coffee and bench racing meeting this morning. Getting all the details ironed out for a great weekend. Come spend it with all you're Florida buddies!

He's pointing out that the reason they set the cutoff at 72 and earlier is because nobody wants to see those ugly ass bumpers they introduced in 1973

 

So who would be interested in cruising with us down to lakeland after the show on saturday...and maybe getting some beer and wings..

Oh good, I was wondering what the exact date of the BP Drags was going to be this year. I can't wait. About the most fun I have had in years was getting to run down the 1/8 mile last year.

If you are interested in the Caravan/Reliability Run from Ocala to Lakeland let me know. I would like to get an estimate of how man cars/people are participating so we can work with the Wings folks on saving parking stops etc.

I brought up a box of flyers to Roosters shop yesterday... Swamp Kings, go get 'em!

 

We are now in the month before... Less than 2 months. Anybody making plans to be there?

 

Will definantly be there u guys gonna need trophies for show. Need help?

I just posted this EVERYWHERE... So there should lots cars you might not have ever laid eyes on before... I am am visibly excited.

 

The temps have dipped into the 60's at night...its gonna be a good time to have a new show for florida,and then race your ride the next day at billetproof drags...Come on out and party with the Swamp Kings..
