Here's a pic from today. I picked up a pair of factory valve covers last week for $50. One had a hole busted out from being overtightened. I got it welded up for free today and slapped em on.
here's something you need. I was thinking about bidding but I bought too much junk lately. I don't think I've ever seen one. I had a pair of 51 rubber ones and sold them to a guy with a delivery but I don't think deliveries ever came with the 51-52 style. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260487889741&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
Coooool man! Yeah, definitly drive it like that for a while...for your own enjoyment and for the young guys that see it. I remember when I was a kid, and seeing a local car or two runnin' around "ruff"...then all of a sudden...it was painted and shiny!! I really enjoyed that, and it showed me what can be done, and gave me an idea of what it took to make it that way. The contrast between "before" and "after" really gave me a boost. Nice job. Good luck.
On the back door is said "Play Safe with Motor Parts" Car was owned by Weatherford Motor Parts. Heater? Humm. If it gets cold enough I'll think about it Thanks, I just bid on it.
I had a guy tell me the other day 'thats gonna look cool when its finished' I told him 'it is. Im driving it aint I!' I do plan on some paint though. Its our company hauler and it will have our logo on the side eventually.
