I always liked my drag car names......always SUMFUN.......my wife didn't get it for a while, she thought I couldn't spell! Up here in Maine people say things like, Boy, is it some hot! Or boy, is she some ugly! Kind of a play on words. I saw a drag car at Lebanon Valley one time. Wicked Pissah! A new England saying.

there was a green Henry J drag car from south Jersey area called "Oh Henry"... pretty rough, but buildable. Axle was pulled and it had a mustang II front end. I had it for a while, sold it to guy in the Utica area, last I heard it was out in a field...

First let me say that I also daily drive a TDI sportwagen so seeing you pull your car with it warms my heart.

I've also had a bunch of J's and will gladly give you my extra names.

Here's another loose concept rendering I did up.. the idea was based on it being an Allstate (the ones sold by Sears) instead of just a Henry J... The idea was that it was some kind of a gasser you could buy right out of the catalog, and we would have even put together a phony catalog page and order sheet.. the colors are based on the 60's Sears delivery vans, and the vintage Allstate/Sears logos.... Car would have even plaid interior (only difference between Henry Js and the sears Allstates)..... another line of thinking to follow when thinking up a name for it would be based on "Kaiser".. or Von Kaiser.. Everyone trys to be creative with the Henry j name but no one ever plays on the fact it is Kaiser... Von Kaiser bla bla bla, iron crosses, WW1 german spike top Helmets, ect.... I take it your thinking purple??? Maybe it could be something like Von Kaisers Purple Baron.....
Or just call it Grape Ape:)
