JukeJointJohnny studying the Rebel wiring harness which could be a little more explanatory? Two white brake light wires and no clue where they hook up?

did you get my private message?

  14. First, I think anyone would be hard-pressed to find a more natural looking, perfectly proportioned chopped shoebox. The flow of the roof is perfect, not stretched out or stubby, just perfect. This makes the original designers of the '51 Vicki look lazy.

2nd, I LOVE (!!!) the way the side trim mimics the profile of the roof.

    Genius

Can't wait to see it in person

    Rebel FAQ -

Q: WHY 3 BRAKE LIGHT WIRES?

ORANGE BRAKE POWER GOES TO BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH.
WHITE BRAKE LIGHT GOES TO BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH.
WHITE BRAKE LIGHT IN TURN SIGNAL GROUP ALLOWS BRAKES AND TURN SIGNALS TO WORK PROPERLY BOTH USING THE SAME WIRE.

    Any Help ?

For the Record: Skip, I've never started an electrical fire. (when I was a kid, I blew things up and started a few intentional fires, like most of us probably, but we won't talk about any of that since it's off-topic and untraditional...)

So you take the 2 white wires and join them to one of the poles on the braking switch and the orange wire on the opposite pole of the braking switch.

I've been lurking on this thread for a while and I can't keep quiet anymore. You nailed it, the proportions, color, and horizontal pleats are perfect. I have to agree with everyone else, this really is one for the ages. Nice work, and then some.

How did I miss this one. That car is like you took it right out of the mags from the 50's I think you have a time machine hidden in that garage. Can't wait to see it at a show in person.
