I'd like to have a beer with my father. He passed away in 1985, and although not really a car guy, I can't think of anyone I'd rather share a beer with than him. He was a Marine during WWII, and a master carpenter. Taught me a lot and I miss him greatly.

My dad was a old school fella and early on taught me Point A to Point B daily driver mechanics maintainance but this drawing in his notebook of a engine with flames coming out it's exgarated headers was different................

He died between our junior/senior year of school leaving our popular small town hot rod hangout,... burnout,.... cops,.... ignorant young man showing off, and just like a cliche, he died right in front of our High School upon impact with the old oak tree.........
