All the Action starts Saturday afternoon with "The DIGS @ E-TOWN. DEAD MAN'S CURVE DRAGS" 1/4 Mile Dragstrip. Enter Main Gate #3 5pm-10pm Bands, Booze, Hot Rods, Gassers, Street Freaks al the good stuff!

And Sunday is The Old Time Drags!

 

I hope to make the drive but the

Also Fri nite is the fossils cruise nite at Iplayamerica in freehold. For those who remember this is the big cruise that use to be at the jackson outlet stores.

Thanks BC. I have a similar truck and wanted some info, and actually I found Rick is a member of a gassers site, and am going to try to contact him there, thanks. I would stop and see him, but I'm going to be out of town this weekend (DAMN!).

 

We will be there sat and Sunday having wheels up fun !!

 

BCCHOPIT, Sat is the funner hang out night but Sunday is the way better drag racing with nostalgia funny cars, NETO and stuff like that.

I will agree with this. We have gotten to know them at the last few events and they are great people who will do anything for you. Tell them that larry and wanda say hello. We have the filthy forty tribute car.

 

How was the race guys. Did the rain hold out?

 

Sunday a little rain delay early in the afternoon. and again late in the day. but by then most of the fans were gone and just the last elimination rounds got cancelled.

GREAT event. Best yet for this race. Alot of race cars, as always, and full show car field. More spectators this year than I've ever seen in the last 5 or so years.

I am glade it keeps getting bigger. Next year I hope the timing is better to make the trip

Race went well even with the rain. There were also a ton of spectators there. The East Coast Gassers got in there final round before the rain. Gregg Grubel beat me in the final. That guy is one tough racer. Wish they could have gotten Saturday night off. I heard that's been rescheduled for Sept 22.

 

Im so pissed I didnt go! Got up it was raining here in the Bronx went back to sleep for a bit got up and it was sunny, took a shower and rain again........... Blaaaaaa My loss
