  2. Look forward to meeting you. Bob told me you might be pitting next to the Soncy Road Boys. Us Colorado boys will be hanging around Mark's pit some. I really like your racer.

Car Looks great, wish I were going. Started a new job first of July, asked and they said no. It was no suprise to me.

    Canada and Texas?
You will be fine. I have freinds in Canada and family in Texas, just bring lots of beer.

I will try to send someone to get me a t-shirt xl. They will look good.

  10. Very cool guys, looks like a fun ride for sure !

  11. All the best Neil , Sixes of course are a blast. I have thought about going with the Sr Dragster (at mctims urging )but decided cost and age are against me however next years vacation is slated for Bonneville during speedweek as a spectator.
Niice job on the car as always . Graphics are cool as well.

Received a text today @ 12:56 pm from the Texas tallest and fastest midget AKA Bob Owens. Text stated it's over blown head gasket or more. His first run was 124.6 on Sunday and on Monday it was 131.707. Thats the info that I have as of today.

    Felix....why did you not go?

  27. Well we all up here are hoping for the best for Neil. We are also hoping he will bring it to Picton Airfield Sept22 when he returns and at least run it down the track so we can appreciate it and show our support for his effort. Very few of us have ever seen or will ever see a real Bonneville car let alone a belly tanker and it would be exciting.
I know, we all understand, it isnt geared for drags but it is still a pretty exciting deal done by someone we see from time to time at Cruise Nights and such.
We just wanna see it, hear it and shake his hand. (Hope he has some triple XL T shirts for sale)

I blew the head gasket at 143 MPH on the 3 mile course, at the 2 mile marker. Ummmm, I was only 4,000 RPM and it was still pulling hard......

Oh well, next year. Back to the drawing board, as we have a cooling issue which has just became known....

Thx to all on the salt who assisted including the great staff of the SCTA, they were GREAT...

Bob and myself at least obtained our 'D' SCTA Licence...
