new guy from new england with a 29 special coupe

    Finally found myself a coupe. Have most of the body but none of the drive train. Rough shape but like a challange. Hope to learn a few things here and share my car with all. Pulled from a collapsed barn(there since 62) Its getting a 327 / 700 r4 ,10 bolt rear.

    Yep, been there, done that.. Good luck with the build, and keep us updated on your progress. Only took me 18 years , parttime work, to get mine on the road.

    I've been building rock crawlers and off road trucks for years. So it'll be nice to work on stuff I can drive a bit more( ie more roads than trails). This is a 47 GMC my dads had for years and never touched. Will be starting on this as well. Asap/soon. GMC will get a 4 bolt 350 with a 4 spd and already has an olds possi.
