WELL HERE SHE IS, I posted a few piks on other threads but shes so close to being done I thought I'd start one of my own. Enjoy the piks ! This was a complete car when we bought it , all bright work is original to this car , interior paint is original as well . Factory V8 car "221"c.i. have it in the corner of my shop if anyone is interested, runs as good as any 221 ever did.. replaced it with a "289" and some old goodies I been sittin on for years.THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN TO BUILD we'll be starting another poject soon . Ed more piks to come
Nice. The '63-64 Fairlanes are a great, clean design. Though, personally, I've regularly promised myself I'd never own another black car, just too much work to keep clean
Very nice. Is that the factory colour scheme for that car? I have a '62 fairlane I'm bashing away on. Love the fairlanes.
Good looking car,I had a friend that had one that had been reworked by Holman-Moody and it was FAST! Sadly,it was Faster than the brakes! HRP
No Fat Dave the original color was that green gold poly , you know one time you look at it and its green then the next time it looks kinda gold , so this time just to keep the confusion level high we used a gold pearl on black and try as you may you cant make it change color when you want but just try to walk away from it and POW it turns gold ! My painter suggested this color combo and Im glad he did , its just too cool ... thanks glad you like it. Ed the trim stripe is "58" Ford Inca gold Here jus for kiks are 2 befor photos
You need to lose the 2x4's. I'll trade you a Cobra 1x4 intake and 750 holley with the Cobra breather for it. Nice Fairlane!
YES IT IS ! 3X2 !! A real set from the 60s not a modern re-pop , Iv been hanging on to that for years... glad you;all are digging it. Thanks !
I finally found a picture of my car "back in the day" This was the 1970 AHRA Nationals in Oklahoma City. I was 3 then. Jerry was the 3rd owner of the car, I'm the 5th. A more current pic.
