great shots. Looks like it was a great race weekend. We might have to put this on our schedule for next year. It's only an 11 hour tow. It would be a nice extended weekend vacation.

 

Hi Everyone..
Thanks for allowing us to make a pass with the yellow Fiat...Up till 2 weeks ago,I hadn't fire this car up in TWO years!!! It was Paul with the "chute pack Fiat" that suggested we make a pass..
Had a long tow home,arrived about 6;00 last night (Monday)..Stayed over Sunday in Indiana..so it would have been about 14 hours each way..

Now ,towing on an open trailer in 95 degree temps with a STOCK 65 chev truck,(283 -4 speed, 3;80 rear end),is a trip!!!

One of my highlights,besides this Fiat match race ,was hooking up with Stan Johnson once again. Stan was the builder of our "Silver Bullet " front motor dragster,in 1965..

We had a super time and hats off to ALL the organizors and ALL the track staff for making the weekend that much more fun..

If you didn't enjoy this event, you missed the concept !!!!

Oh yeah... Forgot to mention that I also stopped in at the cruise-in that kicked off the weekend, at Sam's Drive-In, on Friday evening....
Quite a few really cool cars on hand for that too!!!
