    Todd,

Tiny was probably 6'-4" and resembled Haystack Calhoon.

Maybe the name was simply a nickname, and not a relative, hopefully. :D

In my opinion NED does a lousy job of promoting these nostalgia events, they host several each year. Good car turnout, good facility, and easy access from Rt 101 in Epping. Our club did three events, back in the 80s after the Conn Street Rods moved up for one year when Colchester, CT dragway closed. They decided it was too far for them to do so we did it but our focus was mostly kustoms so membership voted not to continue and the Mass Street Rodders took it over. That is the Draggin in the 50s event which is later this year. There would be a big spectator market for this event I think. The clubs that sponsor the events get the word out to the car set pretty good but general public really doesn't know that it is going on. Too bad, I think. Perhaps the fact that NHRA is bringing the Hot Rod Reunion to NED next year may get the word out to the general public about nostalgia events at the track.

  12. I'll be there but as a spectator. The 33 Chevy isn't done yet :(
