...the rear part of the floor was pretty messed up so I dont feel bad about morphing the 34 floor into the Roadster!

what guage steel did you use for that firewall, looks pretty stout in the photo. i like the smooth look of it as well.

love the project, making me wish i wasnt in Afghanistan so i could work on mine.

Gee. Slow down some, man.. You're making me look bad. :)

That floor looks great. Now whenever you pull up at a gas station and that "old guy" comes up and starts barking that you ruined a "perfectly good Model A", you can point at the floor and go "It started as a '33 Ford too" just to dig that stake a little deeper. :D:D

Guess what...We are at the halfway point in this build!

    Next on the list...

    1) Body off the frame
    2) Finish welding the frame
    3) Finish welding the floor
    4) change the tranny
    5) Paint

Had the day off today so I got a little done! Picked a good day to weld...it was only 95 degrees! :D

Got the rear shock mount gussets welded in and got all the crossmembers welded in place.

I figured it was a good time to get out of the heat cause I cant stand the kitchen:D

    Side note...

I was working on the steering box the other day...and when I had it in the vise it kinda looked like a machine gun...so I came up with this little drawing! HaHa!

Little progress...got the tranny installed and the clutch works great...well we will see when we get her running!

...and the radiator...still got a lot to do to get this one in place. Its a dragster radiator...3 rows and fits the shorty grill...still need the machine shop to add some inlets for the flatty.

    You got it Brutha!

This is not a happy update, I got the torque tube installed and found out it is not straight (S**T) so now I gotta do it myself! Damn machine shop is gonna get a ear full on Monday!

It kicked the axle forward on the passenger side. Its perfect on the driver side but about a 1/4" off on the passenger side (once again S**T)

Try to straighten it with heat, or let somebody else to try to do that.

I know your feeling, everything what I got from machine shops in this spring I fix them somehow...
