Is it a factory production car? Twin radiator hoses would indicate it's got a flattie in the engine bay, maaybe it's one of those 'DIY' cars from the 50's motor magazines or an attempt at a custom car by someone. Looks like lots of 'factory' bits on the body, but none of them go together if you know what I mean... It's pretty cool though!

    Good luck, Glen.

Looks like it has a flathead in it. Two upper radiator hoses.

That is a rare post-war O.P.T. I think there were less than a dozen built all over the country. I recall a song about em I think...

47-48 Nash center grille piece. If you haven't read the HEMMINGS entry (as posted above), quit guessing at what it might be. It's a custom-built and the Hemmings article is pretty specific about what parts are used, including the V-12 flattie.

Uh Yeah.. It says.. "The motor is a 1948 Mercury flathead, and this was determined by serial #s. "

Either way the thing is an oddball for sure.. The Hemmings article was from 2007.. Maybe someone figured it out since then..
