Great job Kevan, that roof's flowing like a tall glass of my jungle juice on a hot day, gonna miss you this weekend, but I guess you have to take care of business and get the car done.

  12. Beautiful chop that i will probably steal for my 39 Merc coupe someday.
You have some more pics on how you installed the rearwindow section.

    Thanks Hennie

Looking good. Making some nice progress.

I especially like the side by side. Are there any good threads for customs next to stock?

Looks great kevan, its the little things like the front window, and the C pillar, that makes some customs stand alone.

Hey Palle...i realized that life goes way faster after crossing the 40s..so,better move to fullfill some dreams to became reality...and such things take time to be done too...im workin hard currently to keep financing the Merc among other things in order to get it done the right way...i still cant believe that Kevan is workin on my car...and the way that is comin out is just overwhelming...still a long way to go

    Thanks for sharing Kevan ;)

I feel sad when i see a chopped 40 merc that the builder hasn't done his homework , and took experience of the Matranga's windshield area :( we don't need no more Zaro and Andril type of chop

  22. Kevan - great work so far, you've got the crown just right on the roof... I take it the back window is 2 separate pieces of flat glass / not tempered or curved glass - so cutting it down an inch is no problem?

Thanks Zed! Yeah I know what your saying about the windshield if your trying to do more of a Matranga style car. I actually do really like the Zaro/Andril style chop as well for that real early look!

Hey Keith, yes it's 2 separate pieces of flat glass so cutting down is no problem.

    ok, back to work!

Awesome job Kevan! I need to take a break from school and get to work on mine. Nice job on the lowering of the rear, I will use that trick. the chop is looking fanatastic too! Thanks for the updates on here. Hope all is well in Nor Cal.
