Hot Rods Goodbye LEGION SPECIAL!!!!! Hello??????????

Well The Legion Special is officially gone. It's on its way to The Blackhawk Museum for a while and then to San Diego into a collection.

I'm sad to see it go, but bills have to get paid and a family rod has to be bought. Then it's time for a new project...

 

I know how you are feeling right now. A new project will fix you up. Any idea what it will be?

Family car? You need something like this. Nice back seat, big doors, a lot of good trunk space.

 

I've got mine on that auction site right now. Looking at the Special on the back of that truck, well, uh........ You build great cars. Really looking forward to your next effort.

 

The day I sold my roadster I thought it would be awhile before I saw it again so I was ok.

Turns out my guy who bought it and lives in a different town drove it to his son's baseball game that evening.....the park is across the street from my house.... I came around the corner from the shop and my (his) roadster is parked right in front of my house. WTF!
Son of a b...that smarted a little.

Congrats on the sale, my kids love the new family truckster more than the roadster.

 

I can't wait to see what you come up with next. The Legion Special was nice indeed.

Yeah, you know what? maybe if the current owner is tired of winning buckets full of trophy's with it he might put it up for sale
