need a source for bulk 37 ford kingpin bushings

    I need an economical source for these bushings need 40 of them.The clevite part number is 02738 napa number is 2628005, they want 6 somthing apiece.

    Talk to a local Trade school , make a CNC learning project for the kids. You buy the bushing bar stock.

    I think Speedway has them for about $4 apiece. Bushings like this are either cast to size from bronze or formed on a mandrel from bronze flat stock, rather than being machined from solid or tubular bronze bar stock.

    The current price of bearing bronze tubular stock the proper starting size to make these bushings is about $25/ft, so if you were machining them you'd have $3+ each in just the material. By the time all the machining operations are done, a shop would need to get $6 to $7 apiece for them to make the job worthwhile even if they were making them in batches of 500 pieces.

    Yeah i found em at snyders for 1.40 apiece thanks anyway guys.
