  1. Drinks of me for this guy when he is out, just for attempting to straighten out the VW mess. Great looking project.

  8. I love the fact that the Cooler in the rear seat area is actually a cooler and not a cover for a fuel tank!

All you need now is a couple of Goldfish to swim past the site glass... hahaha!

Thank God you were there to save this classic car. What kind of mad man does this kind of thing to such an iconic American classic.

I didn't like the tires/ sizes I had, so I changed them up with Diamondback smooth radial blackwalls.
    165/ 80 15 front, 265/ 75 15 rear.

  14. Believe it or not I've seen worse. Someone local has, or used to have, a short VW pan with 30-31 Model A sheetmetal on it in the guise of a roadster pickup (seems to be a cut up sedan body, it had closed car windshield posts) - the cowl on it is much further ahead than this car was set up, resulting in a too short hood and terrible proportions even though if I remember right the grille was hung in front of the torsion bars for the front.

No pictures, I didn't want my camera to self-destruct.

That car came out nice, but it looks like it was a decent body before the hack job so you got fairly lucky there.

  15. Wow,,

The sedan is really nice and you have been working overtime,,excellent work! HRP

You did a great job saving that thing from its demise! Ain't nothing wrong with a SBC, especially one backed by a Muncie. Sweet hot rod!
