Were going to order rods and pistons this week. Cams getting ground and the cylinder heads have been ported and cc'd. We had to get that done before we could order rods and pistons. I still owe you pics of the dragster I should get those tomorrow. I would have got them last
Night but we had "church" night at the shop haha and I was a little buzzed so I wasn't gonna climb a ladder :)

aint it a shame we were all born 20 years too late?

Blue tape...lots of it, is your friend. Installed the fresh chrome front end with the hardware we had, which will change. Installed the seat next and raised it up to allow the rear end to get installed. That was the hardest part and was all done with no scratches. (knock on wood)

Work on this project has been careful and flawless, not to mention generous.
You are truly Gary's Patron Saint!

Was also very sorry to hear about your little dog.

I lost my Boxer 3-1/2 years ago, she was everything; daughter gave me a 5-week old chocolate Lab, her name's Annie, now 3 yrs old. Annie's "everything else!"

    Now, I can weld again...(satire)

Best of success, Robert. You're running in 'good company'.

Thanks for checking the thread out Mike. Gary's pretty excited about seeing the car finished and getting back in it. I'll tell you one thing, this is the biggest thing I will have accomplished to date so far.
Take care Mike and take care of little Annie too :)

Hey Lance...Long time no see. Yeah Austin's been doing well and coming around with Matt to check it out so it's been cool. We have to give him shit to toughen him up for the real world. Keep your eyes on it. It's coming together nicely. Wheres the land speed bike these days? Did you change sprockets and tire sizes to get more speed out of it?
    Thanks for checking it out!
p.s. I'm sure since the cat's named Chuy as well he's pretty bad ass....

The Red Rocket has retired, we are now running the Red Rocket II. Its a little bigger and hopefully faster (175cc). We actually now have people on our team that know what they are doing so we should go fast as soon as we get the bugs out. we'll be runnin this Sunday, see you there?? Oh yeah and if you need a driver for your hot rod, I'm available:D

Well thanks to the Jon and Damien at Bare Metal Tin and Tube in torrance for installing the new used roof on the hopefully soon to be presentable push truck. There is no way in hell I would have tackled this on my own. These guys are good and affordable and drink bud light (in case anyone wants to use them). Super nice guys as well check them out on Facebook or the interweb.

Pics didn't download the last time. There was a giant hole for a CB antenna that was filled as well.

They asked how much I wanted off the top but it was going to be too much work!!! I feel like the roof line is too low as it is.
Thanks Bruce also for taking care of the starter plate. That's most definitely helps.
