I have 2 threads of photos from this event so far.... one for parts and one for vehicles... I will be adding one of people and food later... please click on the links below to view the photos as this is much faster than adding photos to a message board format. http://gopovertyflats.blogspot.com/2012/07/2012-iola-wisconsin-swap-meet-cars.html http://gopovertyflats.blogspot.com/2012/07/2012-iola-wisconsin-swap-meet-featuring.html
Thanks for the photos. I couldn't make it this year. I hope the dude with the 37 AMB grill (13 of 91) has it next year. I could use that!
what a bunch of cool stuff. I bet 98% of the population would walk right by that to see the latest I phone or pad or whatever it is that is the next big thing.
Marcy, I bought alot of garage sale stuff from the town of Iola and very little at the meet. Not many engines of the kind I wanted. Did get a killer one on the way home though. Never saw you there.
Thanks for the GREAT pics! Did you notice anything funny about the '34 2 Door you took a pic of???? These pics were sent to me on Wednesday. I know the guy who owns it, so I've seen this car before. The first time you look at it, you don't even notice it. And yes, it is the SAME car, BOTH sides of it.
Thanx for the cool post Pov, lookin forward to shaking your hand in a couple of weeks, cool it down a little if possible. I want PIE! ~sololobo~
I decided that I need to put turn this back into a 2 day event. It was so hot this year that I didnt make it through at least 1/3 of the swap on friday. I thought that quality was good and so were prices for the most part this year. Except for that set of bumpers that Pov was asking $1k for. Had a great time hanging out with Paul, Larry and company and greatly appreciated the Poverty Flats hospitality tent. Hope to see you all soon...Scott
Thanks for stopping by and always welcome for liquids, chair, and what ever we might have. Didn`t get around much this year but enjoy all the pictures. Thanks, Gene
