Now I see there's some cool cars there. Is there a dragstrip?

No Drag Strip on Oahu. We lost the last one due to urban encroachment. There's a new Raceway Park, but still no paved strip. Info here...

There are still Drag Strips on Kauai, Maui and the Big Island though.

Hell, I'm always "kinda" broke. Sorry to hear you won't be able to enjoy the islands til November, but I'll see you next month in Santa Maria for sure.

Glad you are all enjoying the pics. If there is a 2nd Annual Pacific Autofest, I'm sure it will be bigger and better. Not bad for first attempt.

Hey thanks . Those are actually the test molds for the lenses I made...bottom half from a 55 Chevy and top half from a 56 buick , still havent figured out how to actually make real lenses yet. Glad you like it .

It looks like there's some high quality rides there. I'm originally from Oahu. Hope I get to see them some nice cars the next time I'm home.

Damn it, where's the supa ferry when I need it?

  16. Thanks for the pics.....looks like a good start for a hopeful string of
    shows.

Of course I was looking for any old Mopars there.......think I saw a
light blue 53 or 54 Dodge fourdoor, but nothing besides that. Were
    there any?

Duh, missed the Honolulu in the first sentence.

What was the location in Honolulu, then? Mall, commercial or hotel parking lot? Gary

You're talking about the black Poncho right? That's cool man, critique and discussion is a healthy thing.

When the Superferry got canned, I was bummed. doing the Matson shipping can be a real hassle. I would definitely be taking my Chevy to the different islands to cruise if they were still around!

That light blue 54 Dodge belongs to my wife. There aren't too many early Mopars here. There's a big Mopar following, but mostly late sixties-seventies muscle car stuff.

Hey Gary, the show was at a new parking structure at the Ward Center Shopping Center. Not sure if the organizers will be able to arrange the same location for next years show, but I hope they do. Three floors of covered parking turned out to be a great idea since it was a really hot, sunny and humid day.
