  13. Thanks guys. I just got back from Barnes and Noble. Kind of weird driving the car home that is on the cover of the magazine you just bought. I am very happy with the way it turned out. Everyone involved did an awesome job and were all very cool and professional, except Zombie....;)JK.

Here's Mark Gewertz at work. Not only is he a super talented photographer but he works for NHRA researching the archives with Greg Sharp. Cool family too, his brother is Coby from Church mag' and their dad was the starter at Fremont Drag Strip all through the glory days.

The cover was a seperate shoot by Holly west. Jolee was as sweet as can be. I tried to get a nice profile shot but it came out blurry, guess my hand was shaking a little.

Here is an out take. Mark sure makes things look good!

Did they allow you to keep the model ? :D I really like that magazine, the paper quality is good, the pictures are well done, and they feature some really nice cars. I'll be stopping at Barnes and Nobel tomorrow for sure.

Nice to see a good looking girl not all covered with tats too.

Well deserved Kiwi Kev! The police are reporting that all the Traditional R&Ks in Ventura county are missing from the magazine racks and that a search warrant is being issued to inspect your garage "library" facility as a likely "suspicious location of interest."

The latest Rod & Kulture was in my mailbox a few days ago. When I saw Kiwi Kev's car on the cover, it reminded me of when I visited with him at the HAMB Drags last year. Way to go, Kev!

Congrats! I guess Kev has made it all the way up to Canada & there are no copies on the shelf in my area :).

We are usually a week behind on Rod & Kulture hitting the shelf here.
