They are BF Godrich 6,95 14 dual redline. Think they were mounted on some musclecars original in the 60s. I think they are cool as hell. Aint gonna use the mags up front,im going for original chevy steelies.
Do you know the history of your car? It seems I have your missing hood and trunk trim pieces in my garage.
In 1972 I had a light metallic blue 65 Nova SS in high school, 327 4 speed, I had a ball with that car. I went to a farm town school in Illinois, the local cop pulled me out of school one morning He said, I got you now boy!!! I said what did I do?... He said I clocked you doing 94 in a 20 I replied why didn't you stop me? He said wasn't no need in both of us going that fast... Believe it or not he chewed me out but he didn't give me a ticket.... I really don't think I was going that fast anyway...................... maybe 80 (not really)
Looking good! Your metal work looks incredible, I am envious. Are you going to give it another crazy paint job?
Thanks. Everything looks better on photo I think i will just paint it flatblack and yellow tainted windows. Who knows,i got a long way to go. I want it on the road next summer if i can and i like Novas alittle bit ruff and mean so the paint wont be some superjob. And even if i wanted to i couldent because im no painter and usless on bondowork
Did some work on the passenger side wheelwell today. Gonna grind down the welds later. Its nice to put some larger pieces of metal in,just so you can se that something is really happening.
Looking good for sure!! I have a '62, 2 dr post waiting for room in my garage or maybe my wallet! Love those Chevy ll's!
Did some more work this morning, sorry aboute the crappy mobile pics. hard to get them good in the garage.
Did a break from all the welding and got the engine in. No fancy stuff just a stock S/B just to get the car running.
This is just a engine to get it running and thru the tech inspection so i can drive it legal here in Sweden. My goal is a 400hp engine but that takes some money that i aint got....yet Having a car with big slicks and all that with a stock engine is lame,so now im officially lame
You did a really nice job on the rear quarters and the radius wheel wells look perfect. The car is sitting just right. The original paint job reminds me of the paint jobs we did back in the late 60's and early 70's with the lace look and other stuff. Real nice looking ride and the bodywork looks first class. Jimbo
