    man that is one sweet ride.do what you will brother but to me that thing is great just the way she is.hell if it were mine (which it will never be but maybe in my dreams lol) id kick UP the rear a couple of inches.but as it sits right now its just GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Lots of threads on traditional customs of that era. Gorgeous cars that don't need much. Yours looks sweet.

    A good stock V8 can be a NICE ride as is, as you have discovered! If you ever wear it out, just rebuild as a 255 and have a low key stealth rod.
    '38-'39-'40 Fords have probably the most thoroughly detailed styling jobs ever done...every little part wherever you look is like jewelry.
     
  29. Really sweet ride - as others have said, a little lowering, some simple trad style engine dressing like dual carbs and such and you are golden!
