Pound Rating for shocks Question

    Hey Gentleman...What is the best pound rating to use on coilover shocks for the back of my 48 F1. I am installing a trianglated 4-link system...I know that quite a fiew of you have built older F1 trucks..Any help would be much appreciated...I want the best ride I can get...Thanks

    I've used "Proshocks" several times, I called them and told them what I had and they gave me the right stuff.

    150's to 175's should get you in the ball park if you don't carry a load.

    I' running a bobbed pick-up and have tried everything from 165(way to soft) to 225 and 225 work great,back it halfway on a scale (town dump) and see if it is1450 to 1550 if so go with 225
