Event Coverage Strangers 2012 Car Show Event Coverage and Pics.

Today I rallied the 36 Roadster over the big hwy 17 mountain again. Even though it again had Heating issues I made the trip successfully. What an amazing day !! So many awesome cars and the best people ! I have to say Strangers car show is one of my favorites to attend each year. The venue and huge family Barbecue are awesome the Show is set in an made up old town park full of buildings from the early 1900 from all over the Silicon Valley. they moved them all there and set up a little town rescued building to go wit the rescued cars. It really is perfect. Has the Vibe of the old Paso Robles Show. There were a couple insane mercs. Some really Beautiful Cadillacs. A bunch of great traditional Rods. and a grip of cool Customs. As well as a few old Drag cars to round off the Lot. Bitchen old Trucks. Anyway thanks so Much to the Strangers for putting this awesome show on, looking forward to going to many many more !!!

Joe brought out his race car, thing is so trick, he rebuilt the car as he does lots of race cars, this guy really knows his history on old drag cars and gassers, he builds them races them Joe is the Real Deal !!!

I prolly go lucky snapping some of the winners, the best of show I thought really deserved it that car was so amazing, and the Two tone blue car was equally amazing. I would have definitely picked those two fro sure. Adam who won for the 31 Coupe, is a local buddy of mine So I was stoked for him

Thanks for the pic's, great Triple Threat weekend ot be in SJ, Deadend Cruise (Fri) Gambino Sit Down (Sat) and Stranger's (Sun).
All three shows were better than last year!!!

 

This was another Trophy winner, and i say well deserved teh execution on this car was amazing and the Painter whoever you are your a true artist, fantastic.

It bothers me that there are over 780 views of this thread and only a handful said thanks. C'mon folks if you look at the pictures at least bump it to the front so others don't miss it. i picked this and it was tuff to decide who would get best of show , so many great rides , but i kept going back to this baby ......thanks again for all the pictures , this the only way i see the whole show...scotty..

I think that was the right choice for sure, for me it was between this car and the 2 tone blue car, the paint on that car was insaine !!!
Thanks So much for all the hard work you guys put in to making it an awesome event, one of the few I really look farward to each year, a really Family friendly event that you can just relax and have a good day in the park, while looking at wickedly cool cars!!!

 

The two-tone blue '53 Chevy took home Best Custom. I was blown away by it, the car was drop dead perfect.

 

Yeah Sean and it totally deserved it I think the trophy picking was spot on this year for SURE !!!! Especially the Trophy Whore one
