Great find and a great story to go with it,,wonder what possessed the owner to sell after so many years,,I know of a hotrodded 33 ford parked since '67 and it just collects dust..

I was pleasantly shocked when I saw the car today in Mike's shop.

Shoulda guessed you'd pop up from behind it. Good luck with that hot rod...it couldn't have landed in better hands.

You mentioned being 32...funny thing on my 5 window is I was 32 when I got it too! My kid was born that year also and she will be 32 when it is 100.

    Cool find, enjoy it!

Alot of old guys I know say these tires were the shit for street racing back in the day. Very sticky, just like the modern "M/T Drag Radials"

What a great find! like Don said, it's a real life AG & John Milner story!!

Wow, that thing is beyond cool!

This reminds me of a guy I remember in my hometown of Paris, KY having a yellow deuce 5-window with a 392 hemi. He worked at a local service station and when he wasn't busy that car was always in the bay getting tweaked. He was a local legend too. I had an opportunity to go to his house many years later when he was "thinking" about selling it. Still cool, but like this one hadn't seen the light of day for years... I wonder what ever happened to it...

    Awesome score! Enjoy it!!

  24. Nice score! Good luck with it.

    Wow, I'm officially jealous!!

One day I'll own a deuce....probably after I retire unfortunately. I'll have to stick with my 50's rides for now.

Congrats brother! I can just imagine how fun the hunt was and then actually buying it. Enjoy it!

    It's alive.
Running for the first time since 1971.
New brakes, new gas and rebuilt carbs.

I saw this car in Sac in '71 (or '72, can't remember) Went to the drags with Dan Hooper, he knew the owner...told me it had a B&M Hydro behind the Chevy! I drooled at the body, so cherry...
