Had a great weekend in Austin for the Hamb Jalopy Journal rod run. Drove up Friday and spent the night then headed to Dripping Springs HEB store for the start of the rod run Saturday morning. Many HAMB Friendly showed up and we headed out about 8:30 am. This was one of the bet rod runs we have been on and the scenery was great as well as the several interesting stops we madealong the way to the final destination of the Salt Lick BBQ.
OK a few more than you got to go to the gallery (link at bottom) to view the other 300 pictures. I have a new computer and program and both suck and are time consuming but I will eventually get it figured out and thanks for looking. Ok I am done and the best way to view the rest is use the slide show and set it at the speed you want with screen maxed out. This was a hell of a rod run and I hope we can have another scheduled possibly in the fall.
That truck was close to the center of attention every place he goes. There is a lot to look at and lots of details
some good shots here and in your gallery..... thanks for sharing. my pics from the run are still in the camera, haven't had a chance to download anything yet.
I know what you mean. I started down sizing to 1024 late yesterday and just finished today. I have new programs and running me up the wall but in time I will get it down That was a great place to have a rod run and lot of good scenery. Glad you like the photos.
Your welcome. It was one of the best rod runs I have been on and thats saying a lot. Glad you enjoyed the pictures.
Yep thats what he told me.a little adjustment and the problem gone.We are having the same problem with ethanol gas in our rides also as many of my friends are having.Time to start using additives again.
it couldn't get any better than this....enjoyed the run and the pictures...you took Ray..... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm in love with a bitch I can't stand......
Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. Looks like a fun, laid back event. It reminds me of the KCSP tour that happens every couple of years here in KC. Chris
Chris your close enough to make it down on a Friday and spend the night and have all day Saturday to go on the tour. A lot of us went a day early and had a good night's rest and a long tour Saturday morning.
Always glad to hear from you Mikey and glad you like the pics. I hope to see you at some event this year so if you go out to one give us a yell.
I liked it also since my first car was a 49 shoe box and I totaled it in late 54 and was able to get my first new ford in 55. I wish I had taken a few more shots but I did over 500 pictures and by the end of the day was shot--LOL and thanks for looking.
Yep they got some cool rides and make our local show almost every weekend and we see them a lot. There is many other roadsters that run with them on a local leavel and every one of them is top dollar rides.
