I found 4 of these while picking and would like to know the make model and year of the car they belong to
Are you a picker or hot rodder? I think we should only give advice to people in the hobby and not just using us for our free knowledge to make a buck off of us. Just one man's opinion.
Some of us don't care what the poster does.....I'm here to help and I LOVE identifying this stuff. Feel free to send your requests/photos about identifying stuff to me if you don't want to do it here. [email protected]
But if you need a specific rare part and a "picker" has it then it's OK? If you find it and can make an honest buck selling it, good for everyone IMO.
I probably should get a set of those for my '42. Must be they were optional or the lower end series didnt get them. If you don't want to help people, don't... someone else will.
Depends on if you wash your fingers twixt pickin' the one and the other. I'm just sayin'.... Later, Kinky6
Hey, pickers are the latest rage. As has been stated....aren't we all pickers of stuff we need or can sell to help someone else!
If he didn't find these parts, and make them available, they would likely just languish and maybe be trashed. By finding them and returning them to the market, this fellow is providing a valuable service. Besides, he can't get more for them than someone is willing to pay. I, for one, am glad there are peope doing this... Knowledge, like money, is worthless if not put to use.............. Ray
If someone has the item I need,....and the price is right,..I don't mind if thet are a picker.....besides, aren't we all pickers in some form ? Especially the swap meet addicts,...... 4TTRUK
You can pick your friends and you can pick your ass. Just don't try to pick your friends ass....that ain't right.
Actually, it is the 'front' part of the Hudson fender lamps (see my 'avatar', these are on both my '46 Hudson pickups). It is missing the rear 'spear' which is about 13-15 inches long... It is a multi-year option, from 1942-1947 (minus 1943-1945 of course)...
