Hey guys, My name is Kevin and I'm one of the younger guys on here it looks like at the age of 24. I have a love for all things automotive new and old. My first car was a 69 plymouth valiant 2dr that my dad and I swapped from the slant 6 auto, to a 360 4speed. Since then Ive owned quite a few newer turbo cars, and although they have been a lot of fun, most just dont have the style of the older stuff. there is just a cool factor that something with some age has to it that cant be replicated. Anyway, this past winter my dad and I picked up a 1964 Dodge A100 to be a project of ours. So far we have basically done maintenance to get the van up and running again (and swapped the wheels). It has less than 50k original miles and is actually very solid with little actual rust (what you see is surface rust from previous owner sanding the paint off) For now the factory 170 slant six with a 3 speed on the column will stay. unsure of all future plans but body work is next. Im also curious as to how many 8 door vans are out there, this one used to be a panel, but someone added in cheap windows. Im glad to have another project, and after looking around on the H.A.M.B there is plenty of experience and inspiration here to build from. Thanks!
