Ok gang, it's that time again. For the newbies, you have figured out the point of the auctions. Well the calendar takes that to the next level. You supply the photos... I put it together... You buy one for everyone you know... Ryan gets the proceeds... and you get a kick ass calendar with images suitable for framing. Everyone wins. The last two are collectors items now so... submit your work and get famous.

Here's the skinny. I need photos. Not your everyday run of the mill, this is my car at the local cruise night photos... Photos that when you look at them, you automatically get it. You know, that same feeling when you stop and just stare at your ride. The photos in the calendar are about passion... spreading the gospel.

Requirements: Post your submissions in this thread. You MUST have hi res version of the photo for it to be used. I've gotten some really unbelieveble photos in the past, but couldn't use them cause they were taken on the camera's lowest quality setting. That depresses me.

Format: HORIZONTAL. Final art will be b/w.

    That's it. Impress me.

I worship the ground you both walk on - I have 2 - yes - count them - 2 of the last calanders. Vertical format - And I'[m in love with them. One is sitting there - still in packaging - unopened. The other . . . same place :( I wanted to wait till I finish my garage to put it up - but lots of things have been going on this summer.

SO - at the start of the month - I open up the calander and look at the awesome pic.

Horizontal format - do you have a size in mind that the calander will be?

These are from 2272X1704 minimum compression jpgs shot with my Canon G2 last week . The images have not been cropped, they retain their original composition.

Here is something to start it off. This should convert to B&W pretty easy. I am at work so I cant do it right now. I can get it as big as you need.

hahaha, good thing I don't walk much. For the new folks, the calendar would not be possible w/o Denise's help along with the rest of the GMB.

Here's a few images from last year to get you started, but remember this year is HORIZONTAL.

Same type of format with the circular "days" in an area?

    A hero for sure...

The attached is pretty much junk, but I wanted to contribute something to the thread! Once I get my real machine moved to Austin, I'll dig up something nice.

That brings up something of note. I am not opposed to a pin up shot with a hot rod or two, but it's not a pin up calendar. Of course if Evel can pull some strings and get a suitable shot from Octavio I will be MORE than happy to accomodate...

All models/people in the photos have to sign a model release. If they are background people that's different, but like the one Fat Hack posted... all those dudes would have to sign a release.

what film are you using? That's just a bad as picture.

We need some submissions from our friendly UK hamber. Talk about nice shots. He's got about 25 I wouldn't mind seeing in a calender.

    So how about it ROADRUNNER?????

  24. It's a damn shame I'll prolly never see this photo used in a HAMB calender but it's just a quicky shot Marcy [Ryan's wife] took of my ratty ol' pickup on the '03 Speed and Power meet...I love this shot.

Does anyone have a copy of that pic that was posted in another thread, it was two A roadsters racing down a dirt road, I think it was taken in New Zealand.

that was a great pic, and thread as well.

    Edit: I found it-

The one shot that you took at BilletProof Detroit and used for the cover of the CD you gave me was killer. Please submit that one for sure.
