Love the chop. Looks like you got quite the projects in there. Nice to find time to work on your own stuff. I like the extra long vise grips too and the little things you had to do to make this work. great job.
Today brought a little bling as a break from the grinding, welding, sanding , banging sweating and swearing..
Starting to lay down some primer as we work our way around the body..Sent my nasty , ugly , leakiing carb to Custon Rebuilds in New Jersey on Thursday. 3 days and $160 later I got this back. Those fellas are no joke!
Holy crap, man; this is epic. Killer lines; C pillars are visually heavy, and yours are just perfectly placed on that car for its profile. They land right over the wheels... on this car a truly great look. I've seen guys take the roof into quarters and still not get the proportions so spot on. Kudos from a former Melrose guy. Watching carefully. Great thread. Show us the first cruise when it happens.
looks great, can't wait to see it done. For the cost of that carb, you coulda prolly tore into yourself and saved quite a few dollars, by the looks of your skills. anyway great pics and build
Making some adjustments to get the trunk to sit right..My welding skills are getting better.. until I look at Jon's side of the trunk and want to stick the MIG in my eye and pull the trigger..ot wrap the TIG around his super talented neck Doors are looking good
