    That's right, he also did a bunch of the cooler Roach iron on designs.

    In the mid 70's, my neighbor worked at Knotts with Big Daddy Ed Roth hand painting designs on the walls of the restaurants and shops, etc.

    He came to my house in Garden Grove in '76 or '77 and lettered and pinstriped my Hondo flatbotttom. He had a bible in one hand and a brush in the other!

    Advice giver.

    I met Big Daddy back then since I picked up the mail (65-72) at the farm office for the post office. Remember one day we were talking about stuff. His advice was to stay in school.

    He did all the lettering and signs back then.

    Should have taken the job offer from him but then travel distance was the killer along with the pay. Think $1-1.50 was the wage or so about then.
