Big changes this year!!!!

SEPTEMBER 1st & 2nd

CAR CLUBS!

This year car clubs that PREREGISTER as a club will have the opportunity to set up a respected area in the fairgrounds Friday but MUST all arrive together Saturday morning to be parked in your area. Cars may be left in the fairgrounds overnight. We will be at the fairgrounds noon on Friday to assist you.

For clubs that preregister you can preregister together and if you pay for 9 cars your 10th car will be free.

Also we will have club picks this year. If your club wants to make a trophy and choose a car we will be handing out club picks immediately following the pin up pageant saturday afternoon. Please PM me of your club would like to be involved in this.

SWAP MEET!!!

There will be swap meet spaces available this year again. Spaces are $50 for both days. 10'x15 spaces.

RELIABILITY RUN!!!

Sunday we will have a reliability run that leaves the fairgrounds at 3 heading northbound on the 101. We will then take the 150 up and around Lake Casitas and head towards old Ventura avenue. We will take the old avenue down to Noble Fabrication where they will be having an open house and BBQ.

Let make the 10th anniversary a show to remember!!!

Preregister for cars is $35 bucks and that gets you and 1 other person in on both days.

Hey...my rims are still RED!



I've been running red rims for four decades.

 

Red rims are perfectly acceptable for the show as long as they are not on a late model car "trying" to be an older car.

 

How about my billet rims this year?

 

I've seen billet and "big" wheels at that event

Hey guys this is going to be a good show this year, Matt is really changing things up. Let's support another good show.

 

Gonba be a good weekend .... One hell of a way to end summer

 

Who's Matt? I thought the guy in the big hat and golf cart was the "guy". Not sure, but his name's not Matt. I hope it's better than last year. It's one of the shows that was really GROWING, like Mooneyes Xmas Party. But, last year was really thin at Ventura

 

The guy with the hat is John Parker and he is the guy. It is John Parker's show.

I (Matt) am onboard to help out as much as I can. I have been organizing all the club events and putting together the reliability run. It takes a good team to put on a show and I am doing all I can to keep this show continue growing and not thinning.

I am a local guy who loves cars and I want to help keep the show in town.

I am volunteering to help out! I am not being paid at all nor do I want to be. I am doing this because I believe in all the good people that love this hobby as much as I do. I believe in this community and this show.

Let's all do our best to keep this show alive and going strong for another 10 years.

Without the cars we have no shows! Without shows we have no way of passing to torch to people who otherwise would not be exposed to what we all love.

Is there a host hotel, or where's the best place to stay w/ other hambsters?

Most of the guys camp out at the Motel 6 in town. It is less then a 5 minute drive from the fairgrounds and the place to be after the art show Friday night.

 

seems to me that the last couple years been less cars? still my faveriote car show, but still I miss the back parking space full. last years pin up contest was great. had this girl is a red dress.damnnn!!!
