Great book but Ryan needs to rethink shipping container, both of mine had ripped or torn covers and pretty banged up. Postman hand delivered with a funny smile and said: "I hope these werent "vintage"?":)

It is really a great book. My 11 year old is reading it now. If someone ever wonders why we like traditional rods & customs, let them borrow it for a while.

REALLY A GREAT BOOK. If you can get one, do.

Mine showed up today, great book all the way through but the corners of it look like someone took a hammer to it. I wish it had been packaged a little better.

Can't wait to see mine, gotta wait the extra time for it to come over the water. Was hoping not to see a thread on how good it is! Just makes the wait feel that much longer.....

  11. Woo hoo! I got mine too! It looks great! I can't wait to sit down with it.

Mine arrived today in good shape - the HAMB tag I ordered acted like a letter opener, but my postman likes me - he taped it back inside.
The Steve Wertheimer nostalgia dragster road trip, starting on p 146 staging to go into the 100 percent handwash carwash was a hoot. Ryan has resources to be able to get that one done - very cool.

So much for priority mail being priority, huh? Back to the drawing board on envelopes.

It is a bit of a concern reading how your copies are arriving within the US. I wonder what sort of condition they will be in being shipped to Australia?

International envelopes are a bit different. With any luck, they will prove to be a bit better. In fact, we are considering using those for domestic now.

Got mine Wednesday, two corners were torn open on the envelope and the Post Office had stamped "Received in Damaged Condition" in 4 places.
Much to my surprise, the book was in nice shape...I got 124 pages into it before my eyes finally gave out...Great read!

What's the scrapbook? I've never created or sold anything called a scrapbook?

The scrapbook is TRJ's book that's been on preorder for a long time.

I just went out to check the mail and nothing. Damn it damn it damn it!!! Everyone else around here got one. I bet my mailman Paul stole it. ;)

Got it today. Looking forward to reading it.

FYI. The USPS doesn't like them.
