The Weiand Tunnel Ram works with the stock hood. I don't have the correct base to the air cleaner. I use the 70 style one. With this set up the lid to the air cleaner just barely misses the top of the hood. you will see lots of air cleaner through the scoop. Currently I have a stock intake on the car as it drives a lot nicer than the tunnel ram. I am thinking about reworking the tunnel ram to run with a mechanical set of (six bbl) carbs. TD

Hope this counts....383 w/727 9 1/4" rear end, Volare front suspension, Chrysler power brake system. In a 56 F100.
Got a 50' special deluxe Plymouth myself. We maybe few but are cars were top of the line engineering marvels of there time.
1955 Dodge C-3 B with 241 "poly" V-8; 3 on column. Was a "pile o' parts" this time last year. It has come a long way...still has a long way to go. Love every minute of it.
Thanks. If the carbs sit higher in the scoop it sounds like your air cleaner must fit up in the hole for the scoop. If that's the case it won't work with the pan style air cleaner because it's bigger than the hole so it seals to the hood.
Another proud lover here. Check my album for my 72' 440 Dart Also a numbers 67' Coronet R/T in the works
Love Mopars, I prefer the 20's to early 50's style, combined with the best of the 50's and 60's powertrains.
OK I M 1 2 Here's why. Dad got a 66 Fury III brand new in 66. I still have it. Through the years dad brought home different courtesy cars when the plymouth got warranty work done. I specifically remember a Sport Fury convertible and V8 Valiant. My Grandmother bought a brand new Dart. Dad's car today. And a couple other cornerstones in my collection. Thus the lean towards Mopar. I do like everything else though as well. Doug.
Im reminded that I'm a Mopar guy every time I go to a swap meet. If you pick up any random part and say "SBC" you will be right 98% of the time. 1930 Chrysler truck and 1970 D-100 w/6.
Bloody hell;that's freakin' NICE! May not be HAMB friendly, but my buds over at FBBO would love it. Wait, are you there as well?
Another Mopar guy similar to the boys above...My 68 is a street strip and my 69 is original...I am working on a 56 Desoto Hemi that I will feature as I move along.. Can't beat MOpars...
Oh Yeah, that's all I've had so far... just old Chrysler products. I just went to look at one those Hemi-powered air raid sirens by my house and had my girlfriend take a few pics. I don't know if that hemi was in there anymore.
65 Fury here. I've had it about a year, trying to collect trim pieces and finish up the few mechanical things with it before starting bodywork this summer.
I saw this and thought I would make my first post here. I've got three. 1933 1.5 ton Dodge truck, 1970 barracuda (originally a 318 auto car but almost have everything to put together a 474 hemi with a 4spd), 2007.5 Dodge ram 2500 diesel. All three of my mopars are money pits but I like them.
