Anyone know for sure if 1 1/2 ton fenders and hood are the same as pickup? Thanks

Yes they are the same up to 34. After that the wheel opening is slightly different due to the larger tires. I have a 1 1/2 rf fender on my truck...no spare tire well.

Thanks, made my day. I was pretty sure it wouldn't work on models a's but the 34 seem to measure out right.

Up to 34 ford just took half ton truck bodies and fenders and mounted them on truck chassis, in 35 ford built their first big truck. Fenders and running boards are unique to these, but cab and hoods are made for pickups still. My 36 was once a fire truck, had to source out pickup fenders for it.

  10. My understanding is 34 and earlier fronts have same dimensions (truck and pickup), but 35 up was bigger on trucks. 2 cents!
