After 6 years of viewing I decided to get on board. Born in 1947, I started pulling wrenches at age 13. Soon to be 65, I still enjoy the smell of burning sheet metal. My current project is a 1933 Chevrolet Extended Cab Pickup. (As if rotted wood was not enough). Hence the name 33sporttruck. The other project is my wife's 68 Camaro Convertible. Being disabled due to a work injury, makes the build process a lot slower. Experienced in sheet metal and upholstery work, and have slung a few parts over the counter in the past. Built my 1st in 1967 (39 Chevy 2dr Sedan) with a 283 and Power Glide. In 67 it was not considered really traditional, not a hot rod and the words "Street Rod" had not been invented !!! All I know is that it was fun to drive. Glad to be on the H.A.M.B. Hope to make a few friends. Thanks, Jeff "SPEED KILLS, DRIVE A FORD, LIVE FOREVER !!!"
Welcome from New York. I designed and built a 37 Chevy extended cab several years ago. Fun project that still gets a lot of nice comments when I drive it.
