Why the hell not... Thread'll probably get deleted anyhow... Why not boot in an OT just to move it along, right?

LOL if all the carz in all those threads were in one, it wouldn't be very "compact"- the Galaxies alone are pretty well represented :p

No kidding, right? At least the 63/64 Galaxies are just plain bad-ass. If you're gonna have a TON of one car, you really can't go wrong with a 63/64 Gal. (Though I like my '66 a shit-ton, too.)

  6. i perfer a 61 starliner or a 64 500xl but id take a 66 in a heartbeat

  10. I like the '65/6 Galaxies a lot. Granted they are not considered HAMB friendly but we see a few '65/6 Comet GTs and Calientes get posted.

I drove the wheels off a '65 (literally, had to replace a spindle and brakes on the side of the road) when I was first on the HAMB then sold it to a fella in Houston who put a bunch of miles more on it.

Just for clarities sake I do like the earlier Galaxies as well.

Here is my 63 4 door that is currently in the paint shop. It's getting all of the trim and shiny bits put back on as I type this.

I had a '63 fastback up until last November and then I sold it to buy my Ranch Wagon. Sad to see it go....wish I had enough $$ to own more than just one at a time

  24. My usual pic of my 63 I've had since high school in '87. 390/auto. Gonna repaint with white top and lighter blue, and get some 15" American Mags. Also, got some nice orig valve covers and air cleaner to replace the cheap chrome I put on as a teenager.

So, any body have a picture of a '62 2 door post they can show so I can lose my mind all over again? When I was in high school (about thirty years ago) one of my mentors came home on day with an original paint, black over red, base trim 406 tripower/4 speed car... Then let my drive it to school one day! My poor '62 falcon couldn't even come close to competeing with that! My brain has been warped for those cars ever since!!!
