    Lower panel finished off and fitted to the grille and inner radiator panel.Just welding remains to weld the fresh panel to the main grille housing.

    Next task is designing and fabricating the dash heater/defrost vents.These pics show making some simple cheap tooling to aid fabrication.Pics show the use of nylon chasers to form and shape into the jig made.The following post will show grafting in the vents into the dashboard.

    Glove box liner built to house Air Ride gauges for rear.

    Last photo shows the heater/defrost pipe that needs to feed the new vents we just grafted in.The room behind the dash and the windshield frame housing is very little.So i have to design a box housing between the vent and the pipe for the next project.Photos to follow.

    Love the progress Metal Surgeon.. Wish my 37 chevy pickup was as complete and as nice as this one.. Definetly like the tailgate, what a great finishing touch.. Keep up the great work and cant wait to see more..
