Ryan, Jeff and I all got our first issues from the FedEx man yesterday and OH MY GOD! This book is sweet!

Alliance members were sent a special link giving them a chance to purchase of the book yesterday, so if you are not a member you may want to join and get your copy before the masses get at 'em. After the weekend release party they go up for sale on the JJ site and the ACME site.

Newbie here..... kinda..... anyway, looking at joining the Reliability Run on Saturday...... just wondering if there is any initiations involved.... setting hair on fire, made to ride naked on hood thru town, tar & feathers, etc.... the normal stuff.

Actual inaugural road trip was to the HAMB Drags in '08. With only 300 miles on a frame up rebuild my son and I took off from Dallas to Joplin..... car didn't miss a lick all the way there and back.

So.... just show up in Dripping Springs @8:30 and enjoy??? Looking forward to it.

Just show up and hang out. Hell, the Texans are letting us Californians and even a Canadian join them so you are certainly welcome.

I plan to show up in Dripping Springs in an OT sedan (my '60 parts hauler isn't ready) with a camera. Everybody smile pretty.

Wimberley is a cool little town, me and my wife spent a day there for our first anniversary on the way to San Antonio.

Get to take tons of good pictures, especially since my last name is Wimberley!

I want to thank my friends and partners in the book for seeing it thru. Ryan and Jeff, you guys are the best!

The books landed in Austin today....at least enough for the release party. The rest will arrive next week and then we will start sending them to the far corners of the globe.

Everything about the whole "publish our own book" idea has been like going on a road trip in a car that just got built. We just bolted this idea together and set out on the road. We had our share of wrong turns and busted stuff but just like being on a road trip you figure out what to do to get back on the road and you keep going. We made it boys!

Me and some friends are flying to Austin tomorrow for a huge weekend of celebrating and fun. See you there.

Oh, don't forget to buy a book so we can do it all over again for book 3.
