We just recently had to move my Grandfather into assisted living. Always a mopar man, this is one of his unfinished projects. We recently dusted it off and hauled it into storage until we can get back to it again. '26 Chrysler Imperial 80 motor and cowl, same era Plymouth frame and wheels. Scratchbuilt headers and dual intake (by Bill Young). He wanted a speedster, so that's what we'll do. Hope to get to it soon for his sake (as he's nearly 90), but thought y'all may appreciate it. Don't see many 20s Chryslers hopped up - juice brakes and full pressure oiling in the 20s... touché Ford!

  2. Nice grill shell.

I encourage you to get on this project sooner rather than later.

  3. AAAAaaaahh! Love it! Please follow this up with a comprehensive build thread! I'd be tempted to whack a seat in there and drive as is. Great work, make the old man proud!

  8. Those grille shells were the most beautiful made in my opinion. Almost 90 years later, and it still looks elegant and demands attention.
Cool story too, you would make his day taking him for a ride in it.

  9. cool... now get on it and get it done !!
