I love seeing the glass still in the old ones like that, I picked up this 23 Buick as a parts car for a 22 I was working on, and it still had the original glass too!

I thought it would be cool to cut the rear off the convertible and turn it into a couch! (There really is almost nothing usable on it left)

The Merc has a few select parts left. I haven't been back there this year to see, but I believe it still has the whole engine left still as well.

Take note of the address and go to the county office, they should be able to tell you who owns it pretty easily, then it's just a matter of looking them up in the phone book.

Hopefully that works, I was thinking the concession number would be a good start, they have records for every bit of land there is normally.

Perhaps try GPS cordinates. You may also be able to buy county maps of the area, which say who owns each section/quarter section (etc). Find out who owns the property using one of those then look them up on www.yellowpages.ca
In Sask, thats what I did a number of times. Typically the biggest town, or one of the biggest towns in the area should have the county office in them, to which you can go to, to buy a map.

Lots of good tin in those pics, I'd love to have a walk through if it was closer.

I just drive over in an old car, friendly, polite and no false pretenses, and that seems to work (this is for places with an occupied house mind you) even the places that have a bunch of no trespassing signs on them, have all been friendly to me.

Went with Karen and Josh to the junk yard on Saturday for some new yard art. Everything is overgrown already.

It's crazy how back in the day they used to just throw junk cars into washes for erosion control. If you were to do that today you would probably get you're ass handed to you by the EPA.......Plus new cars would probably just float away...hahaha

I drive by that field weekly, there used to be alot more but it was "cleaned up" a few years ago. The property belonged to a fellow named Chipps , not sure if the family still owns the land or not. It's located on hwy. 3 just east of Courtland - has been there as long as I can remember.

Located on hwy 3 just east of Courtland On. It looks like they are getting ready to remove/dispose the remaining cars in the near future --
